I have two with the STC-1000 controllers but they display only Celsius. So I got smart and ordered an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Inkbird-All-Purpose-Temperature-Controller-Fahrenheit\/dp\/B00OXPE8U6\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1458486038&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=inkbird+itc-1000\" target=\"_blank\">Inkbird ITC-1000F controller from Amazon.com.<\/a> The price was about the same and this one can display Fahrenheit or Celsius. Now I don&#8217;t have to do the mental math each time I use it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hangar92brewery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_1044.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-99\" src=\"http:\/\/hangar92brewery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_1044.jpg\" alt=\"Inkbird ITC-1000 Controller\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/hangar92brewery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_1044.jpg 640w, http:\/\/hangar92brewery.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/IMG_1044-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These boxes are really simple to build. The box is a 6&#8243; electrical box from Lowe&#8217;s. I used a standard wall outlet and a 10 foot 12\/3 cord from Lowe&#8217;s as well. I added the blue and red dots to indicate the cold and hot sides. I used a plastic cable gland to secure the electrical cord at the box but you could just tie a knot on the inside to keep from pulling it and damaging the wiring.
